Mascot Volunteer

In this role you will support us in raising the profile of the charity by volunteering as our mascot, Ernie the Owl, at fundraising events and activities, and one-off events and occasions. This is a fun and vital role, as Ernie is the familiar and friendly face of Leeds Hospitals Charity and helps catch people’s attention and raise our profile.

Locations: Locations will vary and will be across Leeds.

**Time Commitment: ** This is a flexible role. We will usually ask for mascot shifts to be covered up to 4 hours. Spring, summer and Christmas are our busiest times but events take place throughout the year.

**Checks: ** This role requires an Enhanced DBS check, and 2x references as part of our recruitment process. An Enhanced DBS is due to the likelihood of Mascot Volunteers being asked to support events within the Children’s hospital.
